One of our students loves the band Rush. Before becoming a student, he went as far as he could to learn his favorite song on his own. And couldn’t get past the roadblocks of not knowing what to do and lack of certain skills for the hardest sections. He could play about 70% of the song, but the last 30% he never would have been able to play without our help. Within a short amount of time, he was able to play it PERFECTLY.
Another student switched to E7 Music School from a different school. She had a song she had worked on for two years. In less than two months with us, she was able to play the entire song correctly.
Steven transferred to us from another well-known music school. He came to us ONLY because his parents made him. The way lessons were presented to him at the other school made him not enjoy playing his instrument any more, even though when he’d started he LOVED his instrument. Shortly after we started, that love for his instrument was rekindled. He didn’t quit his instrument like he had wanted to, and he learned at a much faster pace than he ever did at the other school.
